FLO-SAFE Flow Monitoring Safety System, a FLO-LOC Patented System, may be added to any FLO-LOC Seismic Controller. FLO-SAFE only shuts valves when a break in the pipeline is detected in the minutes after a serious seismic event. This eliminates the problem of an unnecessary shutdown. It requires a second signal from a flow meter or other source in the line to initiate a valve shutdown in a seismic event.
